Since
last year, several Chinese policies have been changed. One of the most notable
things is that it is possible for parents to have two kids. Before a population
control policy was established in China, the country had a large work force,
but after the policy, it has a rapidly shrinking labor force working population
around the teens, twenties, and thirties. China can establish an artificial
policy, whereas the youth in South Korea refuses to give birth to a baby. So,
it is pretty different.
Some countries are in trouble because they are too
populous or decrease in population. When it comes to South Korea, people can’t
afford to raise their babies even though they give birth to a baby because of
several controversial policies. However, the government is unwilling to solve
this big problem.
If South Korea doesn’t have any decisions about a fertility
policy, politicians and the entire nation will have other big problems ten or
twenty years later. We all know this, but the politicians in South Korea just
present several policies like a stopgap measure. It is not useful to lock the
stable door after the horse is stolen. Probably, our future generations would
have a hard time because the Korean politicians’ selfish ideas.
According to a Chinese
two-child per family campaign, the entire nation is willing to be associated
with the project. This nice policy had a little bit bad effect on our company
and factory. Last year, we moved into Juxian, Shandong. We educated sixty
employees for a year, reduced the rate of errors, and developed technically.
Confidently, we have been getting better, but our factory manager has recently
had a headache because there are many women who are pregnant with their second
child in our factory. Some of them suddenly said they couldn’t work after the
Chinese New Year festival. It is really hard to look for substitute workers. I
actually welcome to the two-child per family policy, but I feel embarrassed
that our skilled employees in the factory quit in order giving birth to their
second child.
It can’t be helped because family affairs go first rather than
problems happened in the company. Our factory manager will have a hard time
because of this, but we should find another way to solve it because the policy is
good for the next few years.
