I
have been running a Korean blog for five years in order to write how we can
make a shopping bag better. So, much time has already passed. I started to
launch a Chinese blog three years ago.
I sometime write some posts, but our
Chinese boss or employees mostly manage it. We keep writing reports of errors
and looking up the meaning of our products through the blog instead of
expecting the effect of the blog marketing.
The number of visitors on our Korean
blog reaches at least 20 or at most 100 a day. We don’t put any keywords or use
other methods to advertise our blog. In fact, I don’t know how to do so…
In
terms of our Chinese blog, we have lots of visitors because many Chinese people
run a blog or WeiBo. We don’t have any marketing strategy of our company
through the blog. We just use it for our employees within the company. We
actually prepare something new in China, so we look up some information to do
blog marketing.
However, it’s not easy to look for data about the professional
blog marketing. There are a lot of WeiBo or other communication means in China
more than in South Korea. When I search the blog marketing on BaiDu, I can see
some blog marketing agencies and successful cases. However, it’s pretty hard to
find various cases. I think Korean and Chinese blogs use the similar system to
increase the number of visitors even though I don’t know what kinds of
algorithm they really use.
If we pay 800 Yuan for our blog (there are several
blog marketing agencies), an agency tries to increase visitors. However, it’s
is not that significant in South Korea and China. I am not sure that the method
to lead visitors into our blog by people who are interested in or not, comments
on a blog, and any programs is a real blog marketing.
Because of the cultural
difference, we have a wrong way to search the blog marketing. To advertise our
company, I found various ways, but it’s difficult to do the blog marketing in
China (this is because I don’t know well until now…).
WeiBo and Xina Blog are
the same company, so our postings on our Chinese blog are immediately uploaded
on WeiBo. So, we decided to focus on WeiBo more. The marketing method through
WeiBo is a little big different from the blog marketing. We have studied about
our own advertising ways. It is not very special, but I will write it down soon
if we have any good results.
We also research about 公衆號
of WeChat. But, for this, there aren’t some successful cases, so we are trying
to find our own way. Generally, a goal to do marketing is highly seen or sold,
but it is not easy to handle with 公衆號.
This is because I should advertise there is 公衆號
in WeChat.
It seems a really big deal. Another problem is that we don’t have
any experts. It is also not easy to look for any professional people. So, we
just think of our own ways as professional and do research.
After I receive any
result, I will write it down. All I’m saying is the overall online marketing
including a blog in China is not easy. If we don’t sell any consumer goods,
such as TaoBao and T-mall, we need to consider more and more deeply.
