She
came from a farming area, Shandong. She went to our factory in Yiwu early
January this year to study because she needed to learn how to make a shopping
bag and manage people.
Before she came there, she folded 800~1,000 shopping
bags here in Shandong. Our Chinese boss decided to send her to the factory in
order to switch her duty to manage people.
So, she left here and went to Yiwu
to study for a month. She was back here and didn’t stand out. However,
nowadays, she is in my favor. She exactly knows how to assign employees during
a busy time, divide individuals by process, and train new recruits. A factory
manager and production manager gathers together and have a meeting every
morning.
We talks about how to change a system. I like to change something
frequently. She has one son who resembles his father so much. She works on Sunday
because she doesn’t want to take at least one day-off. In this factory and
office in China, everyone is workaholic. All of the employees including a
Chinese boss, Ms.Hang, a person who hits a foil, and a worker who perforates
work on Sunday.
They never take a break time. Nowadays, it’s so busy that
everyone works from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. I usually purchase dumplings or Baozi for
their overtime pay. Working a lot doesn’t mean to work well.
However, I think
she will receive a reward for her hard-working as soon as possible. She is
training a new recruit to deal with paper. She might one of the employees who
know about others much more than I do.
She always makes me feel relieved.
