A painful wound

 

There are some frames and pictures around the MAST’s factory.

The pictures are showing office employees, factory workers producing shopping bags, meetings, expositions, and more.

They are the star of MAST and best technical experts who produce a brand shopping bag. We have a painful wound.

We are not perfect right now, but in the past, we made lots of errors on shopping bags, so many brands broke off business connection with us and complained about our defective goods.

 

Actually, we heard from another brand, ‘What is difference between your products and cheap things?’ even though we said that we made a high quality shopping bag.

This is a kind of a haunting memory in our minds. Now, we cope with some errors as much as we become neurotic, but something that we can’t help happens.

 

We should care about many things, but there are lots of steps to subcontract. So, it is not easy to do something as we want.

As the yesterday’s post about Samsung Inc, everyone including Samsung and MAST has some painful memories and the past that we don’t want to remember.

To handle with everything, we should take care of much more things in producing a shopping bag, such as facilities, price, and other things.

Now, we actually can’t afford and don’t have an institutional system that our factory in China works perfectly.

Thus, we try to establish a ‘cooperative’ system that is working well in South Korea, the United States and Japan. In fact, we all have different interests, so we actually have a long way to go for it.

 

As turning green withd envy, Korean and Chinese people can’t stand it when someone in the same position does well.

There is a game called as Jenga, which is to build on the simple premise of stacking blocks.

Players take turns to remove a block from a tower and balance it on top, creating a taller and increasingly unstable structure as the game progresses.

 

If one of the players knocks down the tower, the person receives a penalty. I don’t know that we can build a tower highly, but knocking down it in an instant is accordant to reason of business when getting rid of blocks one by one.

I’m playing a Jenga game. I can’t expect what’s going to be knocked out, but I can expect only when it will be.

An error and indolence would be gotten out of it, but what will be left. Actually, we reduced errors last year more than two years ago, and we did so this year a lot more than last year.

 

We did a rough fight with errors two years ago. We sometimes have several unbelievable errors, but at that time, we had unexpected defective products…. I am really sorry and thankful at the same time.

 

Due to this brand, we received a lot of helps and got a big opportunity to make a little more special shopping bag.

We don’t forget this. We always consider how to remove “errors” in our hearts and heads and never forget the painful wound left by a war with defective goods in the past.

We will do our best.

The morning of a Labor Day that is a great holiday in China reminds MAST of the painful wound.
