This is newly developed 350g special
paper, Blue Baika paper, for a gift box of a brand, Bluedog Baby.
A gift box is delivered in the not
fully but half-assembled condition. This product is over 90 percent assembled
already, so it is easy to do it within a store.
An assembly work for a gift box that is
usually used in a store needs to be simply made, but actually, the simplicity
is difficult.
It is not easy to fold each of the
upper and lower pairs of the gift boxes in a store if they are delivered in
some half-assembled conditions because of the volume of the boxes Thus, the designed method for it is to assemble the boxes over 90 percent in our factory. In a store, it possibly takes 1 or 2 seconds to finish making a box assembly.
If we are willing to accept the inconvenience from the methods that we used in the past or in many different clothing stores, it will save troubles of people in the store.
Ultimately, our inconvenience has saved time and some troubles regarding sales within a store, so this is a product that was produced in a pretty reasonable way. But, this doesn’t mean that there is a great change in price. The price is just ten won higher than an existing product.
However, we are really satisfied with the fact that our inconvenience makes them feel comfortable and contribute to other problems
A few things to need to be aware of when producing the boxes in this way is that there might be a 1~2mm difference of the completed boxes in the right side during the assembly if doing a thomson in the same way as an existing way even though it is different from another way of doing a thomson. It doesn’t matter when using it as a product, but it seems to have a lower degree of completion.
A method to solve this problem about the length difference is to adjust the length around 1~2mm of the collars of the parts that are folded in a shape of a triangle in the above picture when making thomson collars.
Until we knew the method, we needed to submit to errors as many as a thousand of boxes. After all, convenience is really important, but the perfection of a product is a more important part.
A thomson thing was not fault at all. It was just that some errors had increased because we were fussy and tough about it. An error was never reversible.
